Tad Kojima has been in the entertainment industry for over 10 years. After graduating from university in New York and law school in Toronto, Tad returned to Winnipeg as director of Vibe School of the Arts. He recently headed up the digital distribution group at K-Tel International where he managed a music catalogue of over 10,000 songs and was executive producer of the Minipop Kids. He is currently president of Bigshig Music where he has licensed music for the Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Mindy Project and America’s Got Talent.
Tyler Leighton is a triple threat born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He began his professional career in Musical theatre at the age of nine in Rainbow Stage’s production of Peter Pan. For the past ten years he has performed in various other productions across the city with Rainbow Stage, Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, and Winnipeg Studio Theatre. Tyler worked as one of the “Mini Pop Kids” with K-Tel International for 4 years Tyler grew up as a competitive dancer competing internationally receiving numerous awards and scholarships. Most notably in 2009 Tyler won first place overall at the World Tap Dance Championships in Riesa, Germany. Currently Tyler works part time as a Competitive Dance Teacher at Ken Peter Dance Express as well as the Co-Director of Broadway Dance Convention. He is very excited for the opportunity to share his love of Musical Theatre with the next generation of triple threat performers this season.
Joseph Sevillo has been a professional musical theatre performer for 23 years across Canada. He began his professional musical theatre career singing, dancing and acting at the age of 13 in Rainbow Stage’s production of South Pacific. He has played many principal roles in blockbuster musicals such as Angel in RENT, Judah in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLORED DREAMCOAT, Chino in WESTSIDE STORY , Pepper in MAMMA MIA , Leading Player in PIPPIN, and Mark in Altarboyz to name a few and was the original Jojo in the CANADIAN PREMIERE of SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL with Young People’s Theatre in Toronto. He also spent 2 years as part of the Mirvish Production of Mamma Mia in Toronto. Other notable professional productions he has been a part of in the ensemble are : BILLY ELLIOT with the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, EVITA, Co-Pro with Theatre Calgary/Rmtc, Beauty and the Beast Co -Pro with Citadel/Theatre Calgary, Chicago with Pizza Party Productions, Breaking Up is Hard to Do, Shrek and Fame with Rainbow Stage, Miss Saigon with Drayton Festival. This summer he will be part of Rainbow Stage’s production of CINDERELLA. Currently, Joseph works part time as a Musical Theatre teacher and Choreographer, co teaching 9 classes at the Shelley Shearer School Of Dance as well as teaches dance through the Music Equals Programs with the Royal Conservatory of Music and with the Integrated Arts Program through St James Assiniboia School Division. Joseph is grateful to be able to spread his love for Musical Theatre to the next generation of singer, dancer and actors!
